Evidently I have survived the weekend's trip down memory lane. It was very bizarre but also kind of fantastic. I'm really glad I went. The strangest thing was that literally all of the old friends I met up with - who are all my age (23) or younger - are now either pregnant or have children. As, I gather, are quite a lot of the ones I *didn't* meet

About the people having the kids (wow, what a broad statement I issued there)- what's strange to me is that a number of the parents who bring their kids to daycare are younger than I am. This one girl is a year older- she's 23- and has 1,2, & 4 year olds. I can't imagine. I see people I went to school with sometimes with kids, too, and it's... I don't know. Now what's weird to me is when people ask me if *I* have kids.

Ai, I don't think I've been asked that myself but it would definitely freak me out! I still find it weird when little children refer to me as a "lady".
