WHO: Luke, Ion and INDIANA JONES!!!
WHAT: Some good old-fashioned breaking and entering.
WHERE: Just north of the Market District, near where Indy saw the mural of the queen.
WHEN: Late in the afternoon.
He'd been waiting at the Crimson Dragon all day for Asch to show up, tapping his foot and checking the window and pacing the length of the inn waiting room back and forth and back and forth. It was stupid. He didn't know why he'd done what he'd done, and when Asch didn't show up--and it became kind of clear he wasn't going to show up--Luke decided he had to get out for a bit.
He took Ion for a walk, because leaving Ion behind in a city full of strangers wasn't an option. They wandered through the Market District that Luke had heard so much about, and a merchant selling scarves mistook Ion for a woman, and a grocer tossed them fat red apples that didn't have the mark of Engeve on them. They still tasted delicious.
The afternoon heat was just starting to dissipate when they made a turn down an unknown street, Luke having house-hunting on his mind. There were plenty of hours left in the day, yet, and who knew when they'd come upon Ion's dream house.
Luke certainly hadn't been expecting the tall, white building, with majestic-looking pillars that would have looked more at home in Malkuth. He stopped, nearly causing Ion to walk into him.
"Hey," he said. "What does that look like to you?"
