Ken sat with his back pressed into the corner, his journal flung across the room, lying half-open and face down on the floor, blood staining the wooden boards. Ken knew that he should close it entirely, get the journal farther away or get himself farther away from it, but he felt like he couldn't get up.
"Fucking thing..." Ken said, voice soft. Omi was coming. It'd be alright once he got there, it had to be.
