WHEN: Middle of the night, same day Fou beat Kanda up.

One moment he was standing in a field of corpses and blood, crying, and the next he was on his bed with Yuu standing by the side. He stared at the other with a deer in the headlights stare before sitting all the way up, rubbing at an eye with his good hand.

"Sorry... Did I wake you?" He smiled weakly at his supposed friend, burying the feeling of despair and fear that carried itself over from the nightmare.

Fou gave him a look, setting the pillow down on the edge of the bed and placing her hands on top of it, leaning forward a little bit as she eyed him. "Tch. That's a stupid question. Why else would I be here?" She argued.

Kanda was undoubtedly the easiest for this. Not only just because he was a few doors away, and there, but Alma spent so much time trying to get friendship from Kanda... She let out an irritated sigh. "What was that? Why were you doing that in your sleep?" Plus, there was no one else to make Alma feel better that Fou had the nerve to mimic.

"Sorry..." He looked down, fidgeting with the blanket's loose ends. When Kanda spoke again Alma didn't answer right away. Despite having confessed his guilt to the other boy Alma was still afraid of any backlash that was just waiting for the opportune moment to strike.

"Oh- that? My arm was hurting, that's all!" He lightly touched said arm. "But it feels better now."

She stood up straight, crossing her arms over her chest. Her head tilted to the side a little bit and she watched him closely. Did Alma hide things, even from Kanda..? Maybe she couldn't blame him. Either of them.

"You know that, right?" She shook her head, covering her mouth to stifle a yawn as she pushed the pillow out of her way and sat down on the edge of the bed.

He just needed time. He'd confide in Kanda more when he felt it was safe to do so. At least, safe in his mind.

"Ah..." He didn't answer, not to deny or agree. instead he just looked down at his arm falling into a small silence. When the other sat down he looked up at Yuu with an inquiring stare.
