Except there was someone here - a very notable someone. Or at least, a someone Sei recognized; but not until she was too close and the big fox was growling at her. Alakazam's eyes narrowed, and it stepped forward protectively, but Sei stopped it with a hand to its shoulder at the same time she answered Galatea's question.
"Ah, yes, Sister Latea. It's Sei," she didn't move to go any closer, and held Alakazam steady until some signal was given to Galatea's animals to calm.

"My apologies, Sei. These...pets tend to be overprotective." In response, Hubris nuzzled her hand and she distractedly scratched the dog behind the ears. She didn't do well with animals(she thought, anyway), but this dog was the only tie she had left to Matsuri, so she hadn't had the heart to give him away as she'd done with the cat and the bearbee.
Her gaze tilted upward, as if she was deep in thought. "How are you doing this afternoon?"

"I'd rather have them overprotective than not attentive at all," Sei replied, cordially. "The more early warning systems, the better, right?" Her lips twitched into a half-grin at that last word; no matter if Galatea could see it or not, she knew the woman would hear the change in the tone.
"I'm doing fairly well. I'd rather avoid some of the people for whom my Alakazam here has caused trouble, but they haven't found me yet, so all is going relatively well," she hid a soft, amused chuckle somewhere in her words, implying she didn't find an angry shopkeeper much of a threat, and in fact, found the situation to be quite amusing. "How about your own afternoon?
