The screaming woke her up from where she'd fallen asleep on the couch in the main room, the journal slipping off her lap slowly. Only intending to visit a few hours -- she'd wound up dozing off into a very light sleep leaned back against the couch. At least, until the screaming startled her. The journal hit the floor and immediately, she was on her feet running through the hall. Why this? Why again? She panicked.

She pushed open his door, and a startled scream escaped her as her hands came up to cover her mouth. Her eyes widened in horror, and she was unsure what to do. "Trunks!" She screamed his name, but she was sure he wouldn't hear her. She stood, frozen in place as she tried to think of something, anything she could do. But this was one of those strange nightmares, wasn't it?

She screamed his name again a few times, sinking to her knees as she shook her head. "Trunks, wake up! Wake up! Please!"

Bits of plaster fell from the ceiling, knocked loose by the outflow of power--power he'd reinforced the building to be able to handle, but it was still too much for the room to go completely undamaged--and disintegrated as they fell into the golden aura.

He couldn't hear Miranda's voice. He couldn't hear anything, really.

She fisted her hands in her hair, shaking her head slowly. What could she do? She tried to think of something -- anything. Nothing came to mind. All she could do was scream and yell at him, trying to snap him out of it. But either way, it didn't seem to be working.

Helpless. She shook her head, closing her eyes tight as the plaster falling from the cieling got stuck in her hair, clung to the fabric of her shirt on her shoulders.

"Trunks! TRUNKS!" She shrieked, looking up at him as she hoped this would just stop, and he'd wake up soon.

"Nonono, not again, please...I can't...Gohan, don't die!" he shouted, still unconscious--for the moment.

Miranda got her wish shortly after. With a gasped, pained cry, Trunks sat bolt upright, eyes open wide, pupil-less, and glowing bright teal-blue--tears were still spilling from them, but they didn't stay long, burning away after only brief moments.

The shaking of the room got weaker, and the ceiling and walls stopped falling apart as Trunks got his power back under rein, before dismissing it all together and seeming to fold in on himself with a choked sob, hair purple again and falling down to hide his face.

She hesitated when he woke up, unsure what was going on. Everything she'd just witnessed... Miranda immediately dismissed it all when she heard the sob. Shaking her head, the German woman scrambled to her feet and moved across the room slowly, biting her lip as she reached out to put her hands on Trunks' shoulders.

"Trunks..?" She mummbled. Carefully, she sat down on the bed beside him. "Are you.." She fell silent. Stupid question, Miranda. She was unsure what to do, or say.

Miranda remained silent, keeping one hand on his shoulder and sliding the other down to his upper arm in what was attempted to be a comforting gesture. She hoped at least. There wasn't much else she could do.
