WHAT: Ken talked Aya into playing soccer with him. (The world's ending.) Special guest appearance by Schuldig. And then a date-of-sorts.

"I've never seen you play before! For all I know you're better than me." Ken grinned. "And it's just for fun anyway. I mean, soccer isn't usually a two-person game."

Ken dropped the ball to the sand, and kicked it toward Aya. "You can have the ball first."

"Better than you? I wonder if that's possible." Aya managed to catch the ball, but it was clear that he had no idea what to do with it. He sent it rolling back towards Ken, huffing a bit at how slow it went.

"Sure it is. There's plenty of people better than me." Ken smiled and kicked the ball toward Aya again. "Just kick it. I know you know how to kick."

[garnet_orchid]

"It doesn't take a genius," he replied, kicking a bit harder this time. The ball slid off of the side of his foot and went far to the left towards the ocean. He sighed and shook his head. "Maybe it does."

Ken ran after the ball, splashing through the rising tide, and kicked it back toward Aya. "Use the side of your foot!" he shouted back, grinning.
