The dojo was finally complete, and now that it was, Trunks had more time to do other things--at least for a while, until he got busy with teaching. He had to admit, he'd never spent much time considering how much work he'd be putting into this, it was definitely something new. He'd spent most of his time before either training by himself, helping his mother, or fighting--and recovering from fighting. It was nice to just spend some time walking around the city.

He wasn't out to run into anyone, but after catching sight of Miranda sitting in the park, he smiled and turned in her direction, approaching the bench from behind.

Miranda was oblivious, at first, that someone was approaching. At least, until she heard the footsteps in the grass as Trunks got closer. Almost immediately, she turned her head quickly to look over her shoulder and seemed a little relieved to see that it was only Trunks. After the last time she'd written in the journals going completely out of control over the man who had attacked her, she was left slightly unnerved by it. If only because the man -- Jan -- seemed like there was a possibility of coming around again. That, or frightening her into thinking it.

But vampires don't come out in the sun... do they? She thought to herself.

She closed the journal in her lap and smiled, lifting a hand to give a small wave. "It's... nice to see you again, Trunks." Well, considering the last time...

Aw, she'd heard him. Oh well, with the way Miranda was, he probably would've scared her out of her mind. In hindsight, his childish urge to sneak up on her probably wasn't the best idea ever.

"Hey," he greeted, jumping easily over the bench so he could sit on it beside her. "How're you feeling?"

A small sound of surprise escaped her when he jumped over the back of the fence to sit beside her. She covered her mouth with her fingers, watching him for a moment before she dropped her hand and smiled again. "Good! I'm... good," Well, all things considered that she still needed a new job and whatnot, but still. "B-better," Probably an easier way of putting it.

"How are you? I haven't seen you in a while..." And, well, the company was nice -- considering he was so friendly and nice to her, willing to put up with her the last time she'd seen him. Though, it was probably a bit of a silly question, considering she'd talked to him earlier briefly over the journals. He'd seemed to be doing pretty well, if he was opening a Dojo...

"That's good." Trunks smiled, barely even noticing her reaction to him leaping a not-so-tall bench in a single bound.

"I'm good," he responded, though he'd talked to her recently he didn't mind the question at all. "Just been a bit busy."
