Kaylee was too cute for words. Much too cute. Giselle had already become quite fond of her, and she looked just beautiful in that dress! A job well done, certainly. It wouldn't have looked half as good on anyone else. Kaylee wore it with such pride!

"I am quite thirsty," she replied thoughtfully, watching her new friend with wide eyes, though she averted her gaze soon after. A few of the critters had tagged along, hadn't they? "You heard her--" ...Perhaps they hadn't. She seemed to be the only one on the island capable of communicating with animals to such an extent. "Time to go home! I'll see each and every one of you later." Nodding enthusiastically, she waved her friends off.

That girl had the darnedest facility with animals she'd ever heard of. Certainly showed up them rancher showmen who could "talk" to their horses.

"Don't you worry, then, missy," she said with a sly grin, leading Giselle into the bar by the arm. "We'll get you un-parched in no time. Hey barkeep!" She took some of the jingly Rivelata money from a small sling-purse she'd tied together from a couple scraps in the shop, intending to buy Giselle and herself a round or two. But the bartender just smirked and waved her hand away.

"Oop, silly me - the drinks're all free tonight!" She tossed him a coin anyway - never hurt to grease the wheels with the guy who'd be deciding when you had enough. "Somethin' colorful with a lil' kick, please! I dunno what y'all call your drinks here, so, surprise us!" She pulled out a charmingly carved chair for her dainty new friend while they waited. "Milady!"

As they entered the bar, Giselle's face lit up. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped in complete surprise. Giselle had never, never, never, ever been in a place quite like this. There were people everywhere, laughing, screaming, talking loudly and drinking from enormous cups. Some were swaggering, others slouching lazily in chairs.... A man in the corner was sleeping on a table.

"My goodness," she said breathlessly, only just managing to pull herself back into reality as Kaylee offered her a chair. "This place is so strange!" She exclaimed as she slid into the seat, beaming with excited naivety. "I've never been to one of these before! Nothing like this, in any case.... It really is wonderful! Everyone is so excited!"
