Emil noticed the girl as well. She had extremely short hair and dressed up a tad too much like a boy. Emil knew that she had short brown hair from the pictures in the journal, however, so he was reassured that he had met the right person.

"Haruhi! It's nice to meet you!"

Emil's face turned noticebly red. He had never gone to anywhere fun before with another girl other than Marta. To hide his embarrassment, he looked around.

"Say Haruhi, where's your senpai?"

I guess I forgot to tell you that she's wearing a dress... XD

[She pointed towards the tall, blond haired boy running around from vendor to vendor excitedly, with an embarassed look on her face. She shrugged it off cooly though.]

"He looks like he's having fun! Do you think he'll mind if I join him?" Emil turned around to find an embarrassed Haruhi. "Haruhi, what's wrong?"

Emil had never been to a carnival before. The sight of all the celebrations excited him. He didn't even remember anything regarding celebrations back home. No one had ever been in the mood for celebrations at all, back home. Hardly surprising, considering the amount of trouble between Sylverant and Tethe'alla.

Um... you have to have a paid acct to do it, BUT there's a way around it.

[She gave Emil a strange look. He didn't seem like he was obnoxious like Tamaki was, just curious. She watched as he scanned the carnival. While it was true that she'd been to many carnivals in her life, she'd never been to one like this- magical lights, mysterious music coming from somewhere, and the odd multitude of fireflies that decided to appear. She smiled at the thought of her senpai having fun, as she should be too.]

Not at all. Let's go.

[She gave him a small giggle, as they started towards Tamaki.]

"I can't wait!" Emil smiled as they started towards Haruhi's senpai. In the midst of all the fun, Emil had completely forgotten about his shyness towards new friends. Looking at his face, he was almost sure that Haruhi's senpai was just as nice as Haruhi was.

As they approached Tamaki, Emil smiled widely. "Hello! Pleased to meet you, Haruhi's senpai! I'm Emil."
