WHERE: Docks, and then back to the Chateau de Potter.

Sirius wasn't one to sit around and wait. He was more a do-er then a sit-er. He wanted to explore and look around. He wanted to find something new and interesting. Still, Moony had told him to stay put, so stay put he would ... or at least he would try.

He'd gathered up a few stones from the shore and was throwing them just to the left of the boat. James had taught him this. It was a muggle game called 'skipping rocks' or something like that. Really he just did it when he was board ... like now.

As the other boy nearly attacked him he fell off his perch and smacked into the pier, hard. "The hell Moons?" He rubbed the back of his head, but his words didn't really sound harsh. Just surprised.

Remus didn't care, just for the moment, that Sirius was obviously thinking he was a nutter. He sighed faintly, squeezing his friends shoulders tightly before he released him again quickly, grinning up at the other man like an idiot.

"Well, at least those arses didn't toss you off the boat like they did me," Remus to a step back to survey Sirius, still trying to catch his breath after the long run. "That's good. Still got your wand?"

The boy just laughed, watching as Remus stood and surveyed him. He managed to choke out a "Yeah," as he continued to laugh. Really, Remus acted as if he'd been gone forever. Throwing his arms around him like he was some sort of star crossed lover.

"Wait, they tossed you off the boat?" That had to suck. He pushed himself up and propped himself on his elbows, just watching Remus.

Remus reached down to grasp Sirius' arm and heave him back onto his feet, nodding toward the end of the dock as he started walking. Presumeably, that was a sign for Sirius to follow.

"They did. Bloody broke my wand, but I got a new one." Remus shoved his hands into his pockets, shrugging his shoulders up a bit. "Come on then, home's this way. Lil is probably already making some food to shove down your throat."
