Lambo wasn't so sure if he was ready. A lot of things were troubling him in the mission, like that new girl for example. She was just too bloodthirsty for his tastes. And now that one of the prisoners was killed, he became more nervous about the Young Vongola's health. Still, there was no use turning back now.

"Ready," Lambo said, popping a piece of candy in his mouth. Hopefully that would help calm his nerves a bit.

Rika was there on time. Being late was not something she was going to accept; oh no. This was a mission to rescue people, and gather information. The information that was the whole point that she was here for. The guards costume was uncomfortable on her, but she didn't complain. She knew she would have to put up with it.

"Ready," Rika said, glancing around a moment before she looked back up at Clark.

Zexion arrived shortly afterwards, wearing his guard uniform. As he walked, he practiced summoning and then unsummoning the light-mote... and also trying to make himself unnoticeable. He had written in his plain-journal Zexion walked through the streets. Despite his exotic appearance, people's eyes slid right over him, almost as if he wasn't there. He was not worthy of notice. Not even the guards could fix their attention on him long enough. and then concentrated on the phrase, repeating it over and over as he reached for his power.

It was probably not working. He could feel his power, somewhere within him, but trying to hold to it was like trying to pin down an eel when one's hands were covered in grease.

As he approached the others, he concentrated on the second phrase, However, as his companions knew him and knew his face, they could see him perfectly well. Again, he felt that the effort was meaningless. He had never quite tried to use his power in that way before anyway, as there'd been no need, so

Renamon had some clothes in her arms as she joined the group. She looked at Rika, then down at her own costume. "do I really have to?"

I mean, the clothes were large enough, and her form was humanoid. Kaoru had even made a sort of face-mask. But after trying it on earlier, she had felt... quite ridiculous.

Bruce watched Zexion closely. Between the revelations of the extremes of Zexion's passions-- or lack thereof, being a "Nobody" without a heart-- and the bounty placed on his head, Bruce had become more wary of Zexion than ever, despite the Nobody's choice of response. Still, he couldn't afford to lose any valuable allies, not now, at this critical juncture. If there would be a falling out, it would have to come later.

Turning to Renamon, Bruce answered simply.

"Your body form is very distinct, Renamon. It's either that, or sit this part out. There isn't a way for us to pass you off as a guard otherwise."
