She really hated this feeling. The feeling of being normal...and most importantly weak. Ophelia was struggling to keep her claymore lifted and keep herself from slumping in her armor. With each step she took she slowed down even more. Damn. It wasn't suppose to be like this.
Of course this didn't help when she lifted her head and spotted something out of the corner of her eye, almost like a flash of light. Turning around the now color haired spotted Clare, she would have liked to keep her egotistical attitude. But all things considering? I was really hard to.
Nonetheless Ophelia walked over just until she was in plane sight and with a loud crash, implanted the pointed edge of her sword into the ground. She lean against it slightly.
She huffed more as she swung her sword. The yoma was fast. She knew she'd be slower, but it seemed, even human, she was able to slice the head and force the corpse to the ground. She stuck the sword into the ground and sucked in a huge breath. How could she be so weak? There was no yoma inside her, no yoki power to summon. It was frightening, in a strange sort of way.
Clare turned, brown hair flapping against her face and sticking to the sweat. "What do you want, Ophelia? I'm busy." If she was here to fight... Clare would fight, lacking her yoki powers or not. "Yoma have infested this city."
And even if her sisters wouldn't take up the sword to fight as humans, she would because the humans didn't know of the danger they were in.
djlfsjl I'm sorry this is really really late! >_<ripplingswordMay 29 2009, 23:07:49 UTC
Was she serious? Yoma? She saw none. Ophelia wasn't in the mood to saying anything about it, instead she lifted her sword with difficultly and slung it over her shoulder. It clanked against her heavy armour. She never had to use both hands to do that before, how very annoying.
"I never got you. It almost seems like your fighting for nothing." She eyed the other, fighting those invisible monsters, as she spoke.
She didn't respond for a second, still catching her breath. "I don't fight for nothing." Clare replied calmly. She fought to protect humans, even without the Organization. She fought to be stronger. She fought to one day beat Priscilla. It was a simple life and she was content to simply live it.
Clare's human eyes glanced around for another yoma. Apparently Ophelia couldn't sense them. It would be a problem. She still needed to find Raki. Still needed to see what Rubel had meant about Raphaela. There was so much to be done at home.

But she was here. It was frustrating.
