Hanging in the doorway and grinning Dick dropped his head, shaking it.

Almost. Almost on time. He'd even ran that last part. But damn, still beaten to the punch.

He walked over casually, noting Babs' half drank cup of coffee. So she'd arrived early, had she? Figured she might, now to see if that impatient streak of hers had carried over to island life, "Amy." Dick greeted, feeling the slow grin spread across his face whilst he seated himself.

Barbara returned his grin with a smile of her own. These aliases were a bit ridiculous. But that's what happens when you are trained under the Batman. "Hey, Jimmy," she greeted him in return. And in a slightly lower voice, "I've been wondering about these Metropolis aliases you two have chosen. Not creative enough to thing of your own?" she quipped.

She took a sip of her coffee and tucked a stray strand of her red hair behind her ear. "If I had received the memo, I could've been Lois Lane."

"I'm not sure I like what that implies." Dick's tone was light, and the quirk in one eyebrow said he was teasing.

Bruce and Babs? The shiver was involuntary and internal.

"Although," Dick paused, grinning again, "he has developed a thing for redheads. So you never know, might have to watch yourself."

She raised an eyebrow at work. "Don't read too much into it, man wonder.". She paused and took another sip of coffee. "So he has a preference for redheads now? I thought he was into dark haired women.". Catwoman and Talia came to Barbara's mind. Bruce probably didn't have a real preference, just like Dick didn't.

[ooc; quick tag while I'm on break at work lol]

"Giselle." Dick, too, thought of the supposedly reformed cat burglar Selina Kyle and of Ra's al Ghul's daughter, Talia, a super villain in her own right. "She's a little more-" Dick tried to think of a single adjective that would describe the kind, sweet, all singing, all dancing woman. He settled on "-Disney."
