WHO: Lulu blackmagiccynic and OPEN WHAT: Lulu's at the beach, practicing magic. Observers welcome. :3 WHERE: The beach! WHEN: Uhhh....today? Afternoon.
"And I did not expect to meet a Soceress today." Kuja quipped in return. He smirked, expression teasing and playful as he approached them. No, this lady was nothing like his fragile Canary. Where Princess Garnet was delicate and withdrawn, the Sorceress was strong and commanding. He could liken her to Beatrix if the soldier had taken up magic instead of the sword.
Pulling back his hood so she could see his face, Kuja bowed politely in introduction. The rain immediately slicked his hair back, but the outlines of his delicate pinions could be seen running through the silvery locks. She was right about him being otherworldly, his appearance one of complete scientific artifice.
She was watching as the humans gathered, a mostly unnoticed entity in the rain. She ignored the water as it dropped onto her blonde head, body adjusting slightly so the warrior hybrid was perfectly comfortable in the weather. She didn't enjoy being wet any more than any person, but it wasn't so awful she needed to go change. Perhaps it was that the rain was relaxing.
There was nothing like it in her world, Clare realized as Lulu created her statues of ice. No human had mastery over the elements quite like she did. So she watched, wondering if there was a way to add that sort of attack to her own repertoire of skills.
She felt no need to move closer off the boardwalk; there was no urge to join the humans in casual conversation. Isolation was expected when one was as she was and not necessarily viewed as a bad thing.
Gray decided to go out and brave the rain today and head to his favorite training area. Not that it was cold- after all, he couldn't very well feel the cold, being an ice mage. It was just a little too hard to train with all the gloom and doom coming from the clouds. He had had no motivation whatsoever.
Well, now he had to. He couldn't slack off if he wanted to get his magic back soon.
He stepped out into the sand, wearing only his trousers and boots, when he noticed a small gathering of people on the beach nearby. He watched them for a little while out of curiosity.
His jaw dropped. Holy crap, that lady- pretty and hot- was using magic! And not just any magic, but water and ice magic. Very, very much relevant to his interests. He ran towards the group to get a closer view and watch the magic show. Goddamn, she was good.
Lulu nodded at Kuja's introduction. She didn't smile; she rarely did and she saw no reason for it at the moment. "And my name is Lulu." She glanced over to the crowd she was gathering. Lulu typically didn't show off, and doing tricks like a trained animal was less appealing than that, but they all looked so engrossed that she felt the need to continue her "show."
The statue of Shiva shifted and changed shape into another form. In her place Valefor stood, and the bird-like Aeon flapped its wings slowly, neck craning to observe the people gathered around.
"So, it seems I've attracted quite the crowd," Lulu said, loud enough for the others to hear her. "For those of you that care, this sculpture is of the Aeon, Valefor, a creature from my world."
She watched as another human arrived. It seemed they did enjoy congregating into one spot. Her flickering yoki sense told her there were none with yoma energies among them, so she chanced a single step forward. Her sword was still sheathed. To her, though she knew she was slower, it would be a needless move and scare off the yoma should there be any at all. She could draw it quicker than they could see, regardless
