WHO:Batman's rescue team
WHAT:Emergency meeting in response to Cross' action
WHERE:Clinic
WHEN:About half an hour after Cross wrote in his diary
But, of course, they always happened. He just hoped everyone noticed quickly both Cross' writing and his own, and understood the implications. They needed to assemble and act fast. Tonight, if possible, just as far as organization went, though execution of any plans would need to happen within 24 hours, at the slowest.
When he reached the clinic, he knocked rapidly on the door. It was late, though, so if no one came to answer after a minute, he'd glance around before picking whatever primitive lock-- if any-- was keeping the door shut and enter, closing the door behind him and swiftly moving up to the room where they last held the conference. From there, he took to the window, waiting for them to come, mind whirring with possibilities, contingencies. This changed some things completely, and other things not at all. One thing that needed to change for certain, however, was the timetable. As the seconds ticked away, he only hoped that his caution and planning had not condemned people to death.
