His sudden presence had startled her, though she was successful in hiding the fact. Typically, Ignis would be able to sense the presence of others, specifically those with a significant amount of power, but since arriving in this new world, much of her own abilities had been diluted; her perception not nearly as prominent as before. The moment she did realize him to be there, she turned towards the one she as Arlecchino in time to see him arise from within the dark depths of shadows that clung to the area relentlessly against the setting sun ( ... )

Oh, but the feeling wasn't. He could taste the wrath in the girl, the bloodlust, perhaps, even. Her life... yes, it was dedicated to the destruction of monsters like him, and she would do anything, anything to see them rid of the world. Perhaps even destroy the good ones? Perhaps in time, with the right pushes and nudges, this way and that. He did so love to play with his food.

Still, this one would be difficult. But she did have such lovely, vibrant purple eyes.

"I suppose if you're wondering why ones such as the Doctor distrust me, it would be easier to show you from the start. You see, you may have noticed he houses non-human beings in his household as long as they are like him-- human in appearance, at least. Unfortunately, I was not made to appear as such. I think that bothers him, because it reminds him of how he, himself, is not human."

Reaching up, the Nightmare slowly removed his sunglasses, "eyes" closed, initially. When he had folded his shades and pocketed them, his eyelids opened, revealing two sets of shiny teeth.
