It wasn't like she wasn't expecting this. But why the hell was he trying to confront Galatea head-on? Unless he was planning something... But Axel wasn't suicidal. Going up against someone like the Claymore, even if she didn't have soldiers to back her up, was not a wise move. He couldn't be planning to turn himself in, could he?
She set down the tray that Konishi had given her for Christmas and followed Axel to the door, ready for... well, not ready for anything, really, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Galatea. He knew that she was going to be here, too, but he didn't expect her to get straight to business. Clearing his throat, he read from the piece of parchment that had been included in his formal summoning. It was a lot of posturing, but if he had to say it, he had no other choice.
"Ahem. 'On behalf of her Majesty Immaculada, with the powers bestowed to me as 'Judge,' I, Maou Shibuya Yuuri, hereby place thee, Mr Axel, under arrest for the murders of fourteen civilians. You may chose to come into our custody of your own free will. If you do not, we reserve the right to use force to contain you.'"
He paused. This was the part where Axel had to make his decision. Yuuri really didn't want to read the parts that dealt with refusal to cooperate.

Uzuki was at his shoulder now, too. What to do...?
With a sigh, Axel reached behind himself to the custom holster that carried his chakrams, since his arrival in Rivelata had meant he couldn't conceal the weapons in hammerspace. With a deft jerk, he slowly pulled them out of their carrier, and held them out to his sides, moving deliberately so that the armed throng in front of him wouldn't attack.
And then, wordlessly, he dropped them on the floor with a loud clang. "Don't really have much of a choice, do I?" he said quietly, though the undercurrent of sarcasm remained.
"Sorry, Uzuki," he said to the pink-haired girl next to him, before facing Yuuri and holding out his wrists.

His face betrayed nothing. He was proud of his charge that he managed this task like a professional.

He was a little surprised-- and more than a little suspicious-- when he saw Axel giving himself up, but, knowing Axel lacked his powers, as Zexion did, what possible way out of this could he have? What ace might he be hiding up his sleeve? While the others might easily believe that, like the other Nobody, when the chips were down Axel would turn himself in and come in peacefully, Bruce couldn't afford to believe that, not until he was safely locked away, and maybe not even then. And so he concealed himself and watched, helped by the fact that Axel, Uzuki, Galatea, the Councilman and the soldiers were drawing most, if not all of the attention.
