Axel and Zexion, in the streets of the housing district fuego_bailando December 9 2008, 05:26:40 UTC
in the dead of night (even though it was now past the half moon, and the streets were fairly well lit by the moon's light), Axel snuck through the alleys and shadows of Rivelata back to the house he shared with Roxas, planning to pick up his necessary hygeine and food items so he could camp out in hiding for a while. He made it to the front door, and undid the latch quietly, stepping inside with as little noise as possible, so as not to wake Roxas.

Zexion was starting to think that being conflicted was now a permanent state of being for him. He was always going to be conflicted and there was nothing he could do about it.

He hated Axel. He knew that, now. He hated Axel. There were a few moments where he hadn't, but Axel had to go turn them in. Zexion's plan was to blame it on Xemnas and then to slip quietly into the shadows, ignored, but no, Axel had to go and spill it all. And then...

And then there was that doing such a thing as pinning the blame on another was an action that was inherently Axel-like. He was becoming the other man ( ... )

long thread is long :/ but we will get to the visions fuego_bailando December 9 2008, 05:27:48 UTC
There was something causing the hair on the back of Axel's neck to stand up. He whipped around quickly, trying to catch what it was behind him, but upon seeing nothing, he slowly turned back around, and went on his way.

Quickly, Zexion jumped up and wrapped the rope around Axel's neck, tightening it as he did, being careful to keep out of the way of Axel's hands and trusting in the two resonance crystals he had to help him deal with any spells thrown at him. Soon, it'd be over soon...

Immediately, Axel's hands flew to his neck, the instant that he felt the rope around it. As he struggled, his eyes drifted upward at the sky... oh god, not that haze again. As his vision fogged, he thoughtwhat could I POSSIBLY see in my future when I've already died?! ... and then all went black and he flopped lifelessly onto whatever surface was below him ( ... )

Please don't stop the Epic~ [Axel's vision] fuego_bailando December 9 2008, 05:28:57 UTC
The surface he was laying on was cold, rough stone, and the texture of the symbols carved into it were pressing into his back somewhat uncomfortably. He was strapped down, arms and legs, to this table, and only now was the fear sinking in.

Fear is the mind-killer. I must not fear. Oh god, why was he thinking about Dune, of all things? Now?

No, there was no fear. His rapid breathing and furiously pounding heart said otherwise.

Zexion was there, swabbing his skin and connecting wires right into his pressure points. It didn’t hurt (much), but as each wire connected, one of eight crystals around him began to give off an otherworldly glow, illuminating Larxene’s wicked smirk and the small obsidian knife she held. “Begin,” Zexion said firmly, and without warning, Axel was peering down at him, malice in his eyes and smile.

“No turning back now,” the red-haired Nobody said, before SHOVING him onto the table.

F(x) = the integral of f(t)dt. Then, if F is continuus on [a,b], F prime of x equals f of x. Example: the integral of x-squared dx on the interval of positive two-positive five is f of x equals x to the third over three, given the antiderivative. Then, f of 5 minus f of two equals 125 over 3 minus 8 over 3, thus 117 over 3 equals 39. He understood the numbers in plain English (well no, it was Japanese), but they stood as simple numbers. Fractals and statistics and Cartesian coordinates spun behind his eyelids, clamped shut so he wouldn’t have to look at that nasty grin above him.

And then the PAIN. Oh god they were cutting him open, going all the way down into his guts and he was bleeding like crazy. He clung to the numbers and statistics and equations, repeating over and over in his head Fear is the mind-killer, fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear…He wasn’t able to keep his eyes closed now, not as deft ( ... )

He was sleepy when he woke, a night of thoughts had gotten stuck in his head. Random ones he’d somehow picked up. A good sign that his skills were still expanding. Unfortunately, it was a lot like waking up with the lyrics to an annoying song you didn’t even like, but just couldn’t forget. He sat up, scratching his head, tangling his hair even worse. From the window in his room he could see the Haze and he frowned, seeing the faint shape far more clearly. He frowned at it, brushing his hair out of his eyes and trying to figure out just what exactly it was. It was kind of like a Christmas Decoration…?

Schuldig wasn’t angry that Farfarello had left him behind at the sanatorium… not really. He knew that it could happen any time. That if one of them became compromised the others had to cut their loss and escape. But they were Schwarz… and they had never left each other behind. He and Crawford had actually gone to save Farfarello once while he’d been on a religious killing spree and Weiss had gotten involved… There was a seed of bitter ( ... )

night of Tuesday; walking home from junkhouse urassisblessed December 10 2008, 07:44:04 UTC
Shiki hadn't thought much about the haze on the horizon. She was down-to-Earth, not very interested in having visions or anything like that. Her Shibuya was . . . Normal. She went to school, did chores, babysat Shooter, cooked a little, went shopping with her friends-she didn't fight monsters, or go through games to come back to life.

But something . . . Something was strange about today. Something about the way the haze was shaped or the way she felt made Shiki look toward the horizon. She had been intent on just looking away quickly, but no. It was spinning and she watching and wait. Those people hadn't been there a second ago. Shiki blinked and suddenly she was in front of Hachiko. Well. No, that was a little bit of a lie. The other her was in front of Hachiko. Shiki could tell somehow ( ... )

Night of Thursday, which I think is Day 258...In his room... york_pattie December 12 2008, 02:35:26 UTC
L sat on his bed, thinking more and more about what he had seen the week before. It was all very interesting to him. Why would he see such a thing? Out of the corner of his eye, L noticed a weird haze outside. Could it be...?He stood up and placed his hands in his pockets as L went to look out the window. What was that inside the haze? Was it just him or did it look like a tree in the sky? Just as he wanted to think about it, he felt the same feeling of falling as he did before ( ... )

Day 261, Junkhouse Ramen bufulababe December 13 2008, 10:16:28 UTC
Last week saw the poor Kirijo girl witnessing the death of her comrade Shinjiro Aragaki and, much worse, the death of her own father, Takeharu Kirijo, slain by a former friend, betraying them for some event or thing called The Fall. She had stared into the fog everyone else had out of curiosity and wound up regretting it, moping about and having even her enemies here take pity upon her.

She needed answers. What happened after this? What became of her? Would staring at the fog help again? She sat outside in the early morning, before her shift started, and sat in the same spot as last week, staring, eyes focused and her expression one of determination.

~*~Mitsuru saw herself running across Moonlight Bridge. Her comrades were beside her once more, their faces showing her that everyone was panicking. She looked up; the sky was still green. Looking around, she saw water was now blood and normal people rested in coffins. The Dark Hour was still around. What's worse, it was a full moon. She heard a familiar voice; it was Akihiko Sanada. He ( ... )

Day 261, Junkhouse Ramen bufulababe December 13 2008, 10:25:06 UTC
A rather big jump happened this time. Mitsuru now sees herself and her friends at the top of the Tartarus, facing a giant creature that was a fusion of Nyx and The Appriser. It was gigantic, wielded a sword longer than most skyscrapers, controlled the Major Arcana of the Tarot to power itself, and spoke in a most otherworldly voice. It spoke in most cryptic verse.

"The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate...Entrusting his future to the cards, man clings to a dim hope. Yes, the Arcana is the means by which all is revealed...Attaining one's dream requires a stern will and unfailing determination."

A card appeared - The Fool. It changed to the The Magician. They do battle against it and it speaks again.

"The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed...The silent voice within one's heart whispers the most profound wisdom."

A card appeared - The Magician. It changed to The Priestess. They do battle against it and it speaks again.

"The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed...Celebrate life's grandeur ( ... )

But it's not over yet. Nyx rises and causes the moon to open up, revealing a large being or object inside, commanding it to begin its slow descent to Earth to end all life. It rains down a force upon the heroes, forcingthem to the ground, unable to rise.

"We've come this far! I will not submit!" Mitsuru hears herself say.

Alas, the only one who can now stand up to the final threat is their leader, Minato Arisato. All the others can do is cheer him on from below.

"Give him strength! Take my life if you must!" Mitsusu cries out along with the others.

After a bit, it ends. Minato triumphed. SEES triumphed. Ryoji can be heard, but not seen, congratulating them all for finding the miracle they had fought for and sought so hard.

Tartarus begins collapsing. Minato is thought to have been left behind, dead from battle. But suddenly he appears and rejoins everyone. All is well.

One final skip. Mitsuru now sees herself on Graduation Day, giving a speech to the student body. As their president and valedictorian, it's her responsibility to see herself and her fellow graduates off and to wish the newcomers a great time and the returning students another great year. Something doesn't feel right though. What is this....did she forget something?

She forgot...everything. To Mitsuru, it's as if she had never met any of her friends or fought anything and Personas and Shadows and Nyx never came into her life. But the speech sparks something inside her.

A promise. A promise to remember.

She stumbles and stops her speech for a moment, remembering everything at once, her friends standing up in the audience and remember as well. With newfound vigor, Mitsuru finishes her speech with great enthusiasm and rejoins her friends.

It's their time to shine, now and forever.

~*~Mitsuru smiled softly and felt more tears roll down her face, but not from sadness or anger. She was proud. Proud of her friends, proud of the world, ( ... )
