"I can get it, Soul-kun!" Tsubaki called back, moving to the kitchen to get the silverware. She giggled a little at Soul's focused form, his apron a sure sign of his commitment of cooking seriously, and hummed a little as she counted the forks and knives.

"If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask." Tsubaki made sure to tell him as she moved to set the table. "Although, I'm sure what you make will turn out wonderful. Isn't it enjoyable to cook for those you care for?" She smiled brightly at him and then left for the table.

Let's see... There was Blair-san, Maka-chan, Soul-kun, Black Star, and her, so that made five table settings. Pushing a lock of hair behind her ears, she set to work.

Chrona was beginning to adjust to life without Medusa. They had learned so much in a short time about what it meant to have a family and they were truly grateful. Even Soul, whom Chrona had nearly killed, was warming up to them. It would still be a while, however, before Chrona ceased to feel awkward around him.

Ragnarok was dormant inside Chrona's body for the moment, but he would be sure to pop out and annoy everyone when he smelled the curry. They didn't want to be in the way, so they quietly stood in the corner, but would be willing to help out if anyone asked.
