WHO: Tsubaki, Maka, Soul, and Blair WHAT: Tsubaki's initiation to the Soul Eater Lair her new home. WHERE: Maka-chan's house. WHEN: Backlogged, after Tsubaki's arrival. Day 239.
Maka was the first to enter the home. She pushed the door open, pulling Tsubaki inside closely behind her. "This is where we stay. We have a decent amount of rooms, but if people keep showing up we're going to need a new home or something..." She scratched the side of her head.
But the house was normally quiet. She kicked her boots off, glancing over her shoulder at Soul and then turned to make her way to the living room. "But if you want, Tsubaki, you can share a room with me.. I'm sure Soul wont mind helping us move another bed in there. Right, Soul?" It was a pretty big room. Maka didn't see a reason why two people couldn't live in it and still have plenty room to spare.
It was nice having someone else here who had a sane mind. Sure, there was Soul, but... really, there was only so much of him you could take before he drove you insane and then Blair was another story altogether. And Chrona... Chrona was definitely a handful. Tsubaki was a nice change. Definitely a welcomed friendly face.
Soul followed, finding no problems with picking up Tsubaki. Apparently he and Maka had been lucky, arriving together. For once, it seemed. Ah, well... He followed her in, vaguely aware Maka was talking to him. He gave Tsubaki a sidelong glance, "Not at all."
If he said yes, he'd get smacked. Was he just the brawn around this place? Where was Black Star... no... Things never did get accomplished when he did them. Ah... That left him, didn't it? He shrugged, eyes glancing at the room that had the continually covered and uncovered piano. He was a little happy Tsubaki had arrived.
It meant Black Star couldn't be too far behind.
Which meant more headaches for Maka. Those were fun, if a little dangerous for his IQ levels.
After a great deal of trial and error, Blair had managed to change back into her cat form. She was stuck, however--unfortunate for her and fortunate for Soul and the other members of the house, but she wasn't too bothered by it. She was spending her day asleep in a windowsill, waiting for Soul and Maka to arrive with Tsubaki.
Her ears pricked up at the sound of voices and she bounded over to the group. She'd always liked Tsubaki--not as much as she liked Soul and Maka, of course, but the Weapon was nice to her and liked to feed her and rub behind her ears, which was pretty much all one had to do to get Blair to like them.
"Oh! Blair-san!" Tsubaki bent down to pet the cat, smiling at her exuberance. It reminded her a little of Black Star, and she wished he would come soon.
She turned to Maka-chan and Soul-kun. "I would love to room with you, Maka-chan, but... if Black Star were to come, where would he sleep?" Tsubaki smiled weakly, remembering Soul-kun and Black Star's explosive friendship and how badly that would affect the infrastructure of Maka-chan's house. Thinking about the building, Tsubaki looked around. "Uh, Maka-chan... How are you paying for all this?" Tsubaki asked, wondering what kind of job she would have to get to be able to afford all of Black Star's breakage charges.
