Rudy had returned to the Market the day after he laid his sleeping prince to rest, to make some brief observations on how the ice was doing, what the people were doing, and whether or not anyone was going to catch him for it. As of yet, the boy was still frozen, the people pleasantly puzzled - though there were those that were quicker than the others - and Rudy was still a freeman.

And he appreciated the other ones exercising their freedom, but horrific displays of blood and gore never were to his taste, and he could only roll his eyes and sigh as he spotted Richard and his young victim. Did no one have any sort of decency in this town?

"Oh, come on..." He said, standing a little ways off with his arms crossed against his chest. "An apple in her mouth? You'll make her look like the Christmas roast, that way. She's a pretty girl - she deserves a little more class, don't you think?"

Richard raised his brow at the sound of the other's voice. A little more class. Hmm. "You're right," he said after a moment's thought and tapped his chin as he turned to look at the newcomer. Pineapple, maybe? A pear? All of them?

Blast it all. Why hadn't he brought a cauldron? This was all Cale's fault, he'd decided. Right then and there. Cale was to blame for his lack of adequate materials.

This poor, poor woman was inadequately decorated and dressed for this happy, momentous occasion.

"Do you have any spices?"

"Plenty sir, but I've gotta say... I don't know which ones would work."

How could he? He'd never eaten human flesh. The idea intrigued him, but had honestly never occured to him before just that moment. The Ice Truck Killer wasn't a cannibal, after all.

"Salt n' pepper are good with anything, I guess. But I'd hate to think of what all that would do to the skin..." Ah, there was the reason he didn't eat his meat. Things got so very ugly when they were cooked.

Another killer just so happened to be stalking the night nearby and naturally, she had immediately picked up the sound of a woman pleading and crying. And, oh my, it sounded like someone was making lovely dinner plans with her! Tira's curiosity caused her to cheerfully follow the voices.

The girl was quite agile, really. Tira almost spontaneously appeared out of thin air behind the woman, poking her head around to see Richard and Rudy.

"What are you boys up to, hmm?" She asked in an almost sing-song voice, poking at the woman's ribcage curiously. There had been a raven on the girl's shoulder until now, but now it was on the shoulder of Richard's victim instead. And pecking at her hair, which made Tira laugh.

"You never know until you experiment." He'd never really bothered all that much with "serious" recipes. With Cale in the group, he very rarely got the chance to throw an apron on and go to town.

Slow and Painful Meals by The Lord of the Thirteen Hells still wasn't published. He'd been working on it for centuries, and the last recipe had been written well over some unspecified amount of time ago.

"Parsley is quite love ... -ly." Richard narrowed his eyes slightly at the newcomer, raising his hand and pointing an index finger toward the sky as he prepared to answer. "...Dinner?"

This was very quickly turning into some sort of convention. Rudy cleared his throat, sticking his hands in his pockets.

"The guy's asking for spices, if you have any," he said, smiling at Tira as she made her appearance. He recognized her from the journals - as the messy, head-toting girl from the jungle. "He wants to spice things up a bit."

He hoped, with their apparent lack of discretion in regards to the messes they left, that they wouldn't be so obvious about their little dinner party that the more perceptive men of the local law were attracted to them.

He was out patrolling again. Daytime wasn't really his normal, but it wasn't like he had school to attend here. Spider-Man hopped over the buildings surrounding the marketplace, noticing a few troublemakers.

That was when he saw the spectacle below.

"Oh for the love of-" He dropped down to the roof right above Richard's head. "You take a lady to dinner, not make her into it."
