Konishi waited by the docks, her one-piece perfect for battle and office work, but not so great outside by the brittle seaside. The guards eyes her warily, and though Konishi hated to think it, but the boy, Sakuraba, might be her only link to information... And dare she think it, her supervising officer.

Konishi shuddered in distaste. Hmph. He still had to prove himself, as she didn't accept anything without the hard facts that came with it.

Neku finally arrived at the docks, hands shoved deep into his pockets. The frown that was etched onto his face made it clear exactly how much HE wanted to be here.

He said nothing once he approached her, but just stood there with his arms folded.

"Sakuraba Neku. An intruiging player-- high in tactics, intel, willpower, and performance, with a steadily rising cooperation and decisiveness count as well. And yet," Konishi paused, eyeying him almost pitifully, as one eyes a rat in a makeup experimentation factory. "Your scores are no where near Mr. Kitaniji's scores, nor even Minamimoto's. So tell me, little boy, how did you become the Conductor, as this journal tells me? You would have had to erase Mr. Kitaniji himself, as well as Minamimoto, because Minamimoto would not have been to type to merely stand by. But, now you say that Minamimoto is here, alive ( ... )

After that diatribe? Neku was of the FIRM belief that Konishi needed to pull the stick out of her ass. Scores? Power levels? Fuck all that. Regardless, she wasn't going to SHUT UP unless he gave her hard evidence. So out the wings came (and Neku was glad they were FINALLY up to snuff, according to Joshua - at least now Kariya couldn't pick on him for having dinky wings), and Neku stood there, glaring at her.

"Happy?" he snapped. If she had any more objections... well, he could always show her his noise form, if she was THAT stubborn.

Neku wordlessly lead Ironface through Rivelata, until they arrived at a small, one-story house. Neku opened the door and let her inside, before heading down the hall calling "Joshua! Ironface wants proof that you're the Composer!"

Joshua poked his head out from another room, walking in once he saw his Conductor and one of the Reapers who he wasn't too found of. Her type was one of the ones that had bothered him most in Shibuya. He simply smirked at the pair instead, looking rather amused.

"Proof? Such as?" he asked lightly. He would rather not have to pull out his wings if he didn't have to.

sorry for the long wait... shadow_tigris November 2 2008, 03:02:42 UTC
Konishi walked in, taking care to place her shoes by the door, as all respectable people should, and eyed the so-called Composer. Exactly as he had looked during the second game. Hm. Probably the same data, then.

"Hello. I hear that you are this bo-- Sakuraba's caretaker and Composer. As the Composer, sir, if you are, I would inquire as to proof. I understand that your true form can be taxing in such a... world as the one we are in, but if you have no way of revealing yourself then I have no way of reporting to you.

"As to being Sakuraba's caretaker, as he assures me you are, I am appalled at his state of learning. Surely you've thought of teaching him some manners? And his knowledge of power... He has no idea of what he could do! He could destroy Shibuya, or help it flourish. Which way are you teaching him to lean towards?"

Neku tried very hard not to laugh at her. She really had no idea about Joshua, did she?

He would wait for the Composer's reply... which promised to be just as nearly hilarious.
