There wasn't much to do, Yugi soon found out. It was either play a game of cards with Yami -- and the other hadn't suggested it yet, so he hadn't quite pried for it yet -- or sit around and look through the journal. With the rain outside, it limited them to really doing much. But, Yugi figured, they at least got a house. That in itself he was glad for ( ... )

Yami was about to touch the rectangular thing when his aibou called out, asking if he needed anything. This surprised him a little, though he managed to resume his composure not long after. He yelled back, "No, nothing, aibou."

And he resumed what he was doing a while ago. When he took a good look at it, he remembered that his aibou used to heat food there before.

The growling in his stomach reminded him that it was nearly snack time so he thought of fixing something up for the two of them.

He opened the fridge and took out some chocolate snacks. They got them from one of the stores in the area that was selling Halloween treats.

But they were so cold, he thought. Maybe he should heat them up a little? [ooc: Please excuse this ooc interruption as I try to get up from ROFL XD]And then his attention went back to the microwave. Shrugging, he shoved everything inside (cover and all) and pressed some buttons (that he didn't actually know what does) and waited ( ... )

He heard his name -- or, rather, the others nickname for him -- being called and he looked up quickly. The other sounded like something had happened. Strange...

He dropped the book and got up to his feet, hurrying to the kitchen as he heard the microwave's strange sounds getting louder. Oh god. Oh, my god! He thought, promptly yelping as he hurried over to the microwave. He hardly got a step forward before the microwave door had flung open and suddenly there was chocolate all over.

Hot chocolate.

Yugi winced a little, raising a hand to press his fingers to his cheek to wipe it off and look down at it. ...Maybe I should be watching him more closely... He thought to himself, taking a deep breath as he stepped closer to assess the damage.

"Yami, what did you do..?" He asked, looking up at the other.

Yami was speechless. One second, his aibou had rushed into the kitchen and the next thing that happened, the both of them and the kitchen were all covered in chocolate.

He wiped away some of the chocolate on his face futilely but it only showed his blush of embarrassment.

He seemed to have been embarrassed a lot lately. Did it have something to do with his aibou arriving?

But anyway, back to the situation at hand. He watched as his aibou looked around, most likely checking.

"Um... I tried to make snacks for the two of us?" he explained.
