Riful sensed Diva's approach before she saw her, the faintest of smiles crossing her face. Although Diva's power was not like yoki, Riful had spent so much time around the other girl that it was becoming instinct to simply know how to find her.

She continued her practice unabated, deciding she would wait for Diva to speak before she did anything else. Swordsmanship was an art she'd long since stopped using but had never forgotten; it was to her like breathing. It was for this reason she relished her solitude a bit longer: in these moments it was just her and the sword. The sweet song of metal clashing against the air, the graceful arcs and twirls.

She'd missed it.

"Riful!" Diva called cheerfully, "I'm here! We can play!"

The other girl was good with her sword, she could tell that much from what she'd seen. Her style was different from big sister Saya's, but she wasn't like them, so it was to be expected. Diva swung her sword again.

"Isn't it pretty?" she said. She pointed her sword at Riful, and her eyes, normally a beautiful crystal blue, became even bluer and began to glow. She giggled.

"Let's have some fun!"

[ooc: Sorry for being such an enormous loser; I ttly forgot about this! D=]

Riful was surprised at the forwardness, since Diva had never really seen her fight. She'd seen her take her meals, of course...but the other girl had no true measure of her combat experience.

That was fine though. They were in the same boat when it came to that, and Riful knew to go slow until she had a good idea of Diva's power.

She killed her new friends far too often while in her old home, and she didn't want to make the mistake with Diva.

The Abyssal One smiled in her lazy, easy way and nodded, taking a step forward. The glowing eyes were unusual...akin to a Claymore's. Perhaps she was activating some latent power.

"It's a lovely sword." Riful's smile widened. "And yes, we should begin."

She'd been an offensive type Claymore in her former life, so she took the initiative, rushed in close, and made the first swing. The sword would break at some point, she was sure. It was man made and not suited to her strength.

She'd have to use her hands after that

Diva smiled, and dodged the first swing easily. She could move faster than the human eye could track when she needed to. She also swung her sword, and ran towards Riful. She giggled the whole time. She hadn't had this much fun in such a long time.
