Giving up for a moment, he sighed and leaned back against the couch and threw a small cat toy at the kitten(who wasn't exactly a kitten anymore), who had been trying to pounce on the bearbee again.
"Knock it off you two," he muttered, feeling more like an annoyed dad than he should. It was raining and he was feeling rather lethargic. Or maybe that was because he hadn't had any sleep that night.

"Kobayakawa-kun." He said in greeting.
Sena didn't look very well-rested. That wasn't good for his health.
Shin frowned, said, "You look tired."

He laughed nervously. "W-well, it was kinda hard to get some sleep last night for some strange reason."
He was kind of hoping no one would notice- but then he remembered practically everyone in this household paid extra attention to the bodies of people, being as involved in sports as they were, and would've noticed anyway.

He crossed over to the couch and sat down. "And is the noise still bothering you? I tried closing the windows."
Reply
"No, not really." Well, maybe when he was all by himself in Rivelata, but as more and more of his friends came, he found it a lot easier to fall asleep at night. So this small occurance of insomnia wasn't too unusual, but it meant that he'd probably sleep like a log later that night.
Sena shook his head again, and smiled softly.
"No," he fibbed slightly, "it's not bothering me as much anymore. Thanks."

Shin felt like Sena wasn't being completely truthful, but didn't push it. Even if the sound was still bothering him, Shin wasn't sure what to do to help. That bothered him. Perhaps he could try and brave the trip into town to get some cotton a bit later?
But for now, he was still curious.
"Kobayakawa-kun, you've been here a long time. I'm curious about what's happened to you during your stay." As usual, he took the direct approach.
