"What was in your pills? Do you know? Can you remember?" He turned, glancing up at Mitsuru, grateful for more help.

"I need some things from the clinic. Watch them, take them back to my house. Wait for me there!" He said, and without waiting for Yoite's reply ran off. He knew the basic drugs that were usually used for heart conditions, and basic drugs were probably all they had, anyway. He would make his own pills, at least for now, and see how well they worked.

Yoite sealed his eyes shut once more as he was held against Matsuri, listening to the fast, but steady rhythm of her heart. It was a quiet lullaby thrumming in his ear, a soft vibration on his cheek. He had never, not once in his life, not even as a baby, been held so safe and so close. Normally he would've pushed away in fear, but... he could feel the tiny tingles of what once was warmth prickle his fingertips. Or perhaps it was the nerves of his body shutting down?

The world was dark around him, but he could see her face, see her pretty purple ribbons dangling against his hair.

Their words were beginning to all swirl together. A redheaded woman, the doctor, even most of Matsuri, had blurred away completely into black haze.

"it's dark," he whispered, his voice drowned out by the others.

Matsuri's attention was torn. Between the Doctor, and Mitsuru's arrival, she was absolutely confused. She managed to catch the Doctors last words before she lifted her head from Yoite's and yelled after him. "Don't forget Morphine, Doctor!" She was sure Yoite knew what he was saying when he meant that he needed it

Nodding to the doctor, she had bent down, getting ready to carry Yoite on her back when she saw Matsuri hoist him up with ease. A bit surprised, but if she had to ask about her strength, now would not be the most appropriate time.

".....Yeah. I'll help. I'll get some tea going as well once we get there.o you have a teapot and such?"

She followed Matsuri carefully and slowly, trying not to upset the situation further, her mind just as lost as everyone else's.

He vaguely felt himself being lifted and carried along, felt his feet bob with every step, his head lolled lifelessly on Matsuri's shoulder. His own heart sounded so faint now. It was quiet; he felt himself sinking, sinking down, to the comforting black waters he had condemned so many to.

Is this death? he thought, as he curled in the stagnant, heavy liquid as if he would simply be dragged down to the bottom, buried by a black ocean.

Alright, His form relaxed, It's alright. I deserve this.

His heart faltered in his breast as his unconsciousness fell further out of reach. If anything, it made him easier to treat.
