Aly made sure to arrive a few minutes early: the maid not used to being invited to parties, and extremely excited to be so. Had Aly not been masquerading, she would've arrived at least an hour late. She preferred to be at home, sorting the information from the journals into her mind's files, making condensed reports (that were then burned after she memorized them), and prowling the sights of the city ( ... )

Rikku looked up at the knocking, her face lighting up in delight. "People!" She said eagerly to herself, pushing herself off the stairs and rushing to the door. She quickly pulled it open, spotting Lorin. "Hiya!" She said eagerly, taking a step back to allow the blonde woman inside the door. She used one hand to hold onto the wooden door, and the other to wave Lorin inside eagerly.

"You're the first person here!" She said eagerly, turning around and looking at the table full of dolls, grabbing the one that looked like her guest. "Here! I know they're not the best, but its better then nothing, of course." She tried explaining, shuffling back and forth on her feet quickly.

Yuuko was glad to have another chance to celebrate. The conditions in Rivelata were less than desirable at times, but as long as there was good food, good liquor and interesting company, she could make do.

She brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes. She'd left her hair mostly down and her clothes today were casual, at least by her standard, since it wasn't a formal dress party.

She reached the house and knocked on the door. She was looking forward to the festivities.

As he had mentioned on the journals, he was only coming for the food. The company was great. Well, the ones he knew anyway. It'd be good to see Rikku, Lulu, and Yuna all in one place. Parties had been his thing back in Zanarkand (dream Zanarkand). He winced at that thought. He didn't want to think about that.

Tidus hadn't dressed for the occasion and it wouldn't have mattered if he had. It wasn't as though he had any sense of style. He glanced over his shoulder, curious as to whether he'd see anyone he knew behind him, heading towards the same get-together. With a shrug, he faced forward, figuring he should pay attention. He was clumsy enough without any more motivation.

He arrived and saw someone standing outside the house already. He offered a grin. "Hey," he greeted. "You here for the party, too?"

Lorin smiled and took the doll, the last traces of her black eye fading. The wig itched on her head, but a maid with less than an inch of hair was not normal. No. It would not blend.

She took a drink while balancing the doll under her left arm, glowing to be invited to anything of this sort. "Thank you so much, Miss Rikku." Lorin said, not nearly matching the intensity of Rikku's bubbliness.

Aly anlayzed the room, annoyed that her mental trick of changing her Sight left her so bereft. Only because she knew her power so well, could she catch the faintest of glimmers in the cup. No poison, but a well-disguised or magical one could've been missed...

Despite Lorin's attachment to Rikku, Aly knew better than to trust anyone.

Lorin held the cup sociably, but Aly kept her from drinking it.
