Shadow had found himself a gun, a sort of handgun. It was very basic, but it held more than one shot, and that was enough for him. He'd also obtained a black leather belt with a holster. The pouch on the other side held as much extra ammo as he could pack.
In the end, Shadow much preferred to rely on his quills and on his speed. But he didn't exactly know what he was getting in to.
Hm. So very impulsive. Sonic would be proud. Oh well. There wasn't always time for thought out plans. Sometimes you just needed to run.
So he skated to the gates to the jungle, gun holstered.
He nodded a greeting to the others present, but was otherwise silent. He gazed upon the jungle, it reminded him of the jungles that had grown on Prison Island before Eggman had blown it up.
Kasa finally arrived at the jungle gate. After fighting the snakes for over a day, she had their blood splattered across her clothes and face, but she was going into battle, so it wouldn't matter.
She found the young man who had written, standing at the edge of the jungle. There also seemed to be some sort of sentient animal. She bowed to both of them.
"I'm Kasandra Jill Warlock," she said, "It's an honour to meet you."
Zelos was quicker on his feet than usual. Though he still held some resentment for Lelouch due to their rivalry in the past, he still grudgingly owed him for helping to save Kagari from the grasp of the Godking. Despite his generally apathetic view on even the most startling events in Rivelata, he knew that Zikhadhara was not a creature to be taken lightly.
He had taken Kagari from him before. He would not take her again.
His Gladius swinging from his belt, he padded quickly to the outskirts of the jungle, where he saw the raven-haired boy standing with several others.
It was rash, it was foolish, but, ultimately, Lelouch was right: it was an opportunity they couldn't not take to at least find out more about the Godking, even if they couldn't reach him. Expression grim, Batman arrived, as always when not on patrol, in his civilian clothes, offering Lelouch and the others a curt nod, knowing soon they would be leaving to take the fight away from the city and to the Godking.
It wasn't going to be easy. But then, the things that were worth doing rarely were.
Zero had been spending most of his day protecting people from the snakes. Being an android, their venom had no effect on him whatsoever beyond occasionally gumming up his system.
His newly black armor made him next to invisible in the shadows, for which he was grateful. When facing the God King, he'd need every advantage he could get.
The hedgehog must have been new; the others Zero vaguely recognized.

He stood, silently, waiting for Lelouch's orders.
