The first thing that Sena was aware of when he came to was that everything hurt like hell. The second thing he was aware of that he wasn't outside the jungle gates anymore- but he wasn't in his own house either ( ... )

Musashi took his time. He wasn't expecting Sena to wake up any time soon, and a few more exchanges in the journal told him that Hiruma and Claire were on their way. He wouldn't attempt to move the boy before then, and so he was in no real hurry to go back inside.

He closed his eyes, wished briefly that he hadn't given up smoking, and lifted a hand to massage the bridge of his nose. It was going to be a damn long night, wasn't it?

Eventually he turned, headed back into the mostly-dark house. Not expecting Sena to have woken at all yet, he lowered himself with a heavy sigh into the chair near the couch, head flopped back and hair falling into his eyes. Nothing to do now but wait.

He wanted to go home. Sena had thought this before several times during his stay in Rivelata. But being as busy as he was, he never let himself dwell on it too much. But lying here, battered and bruised, Sena wanted nothing more than to go home. Not to the house he, Riku, Mamori and Monta were staying at but home. With his parents, Pitt, where he could go to school, laugh, play proper games of football and be with his friends back home. And to be able to play against Shin a small part of his mind reminded him.

Thankfully, Musashi came back in time to pull himself out of his rather depressing thoughts.

"...musashi-san? Where are we?" Sena murmured, resisting the urge to to turn over to get a better look at his senpai. His bleeding had yet to stop and turning around wouldn't just aggravate the injured, but most likely cause the makeshift bandages to fall apart.

Musashi's eyes fluttered open to hear Sena's voice, his head jerked up off of the back of the chair. Sena was awake? How long had he been awake?

He pushed himself into less of a exhausted slump, more of an attentive perch on the edge of the chair. Sena was still facing away from Musashi though, that was good. He hadn't seen.

"An empty house," Musashi said, after he'd had a second or two to compose himself, swallow the momentary surprise. "Hiruma and Claire are coming."

And then, after a moment's study of Sena in the gloom of the empty house, "...You doing alright?" There was a touch more concern in his voice that he'd intended, and he was sure it played across his face in a way to make him glad he didn't have Sena's full attention.

"mmkaay," Sena mumbled. Despite being somewhat out of it, the concern in Musashi's voice touched him. But it also made him a tad worried- Musashi showing outward concern? Something definitely had to be wrong.

"I think I'll be fine,"Sena replied, closing his eyes again. And then...crap. Hiruma-san was going to kill him and string him up by his intestines. He just knew it.

"Does Mamori-neechan know? Or Riku?" Sena didn't want either of them to know. They'd both freak out and spaz and uuuggh, Sena did not want to be under house arrest, thankyou very much.
