Fun. He was sure to have that now that three of his senpai-tachi were here. He can't wait to beat them.
As he continued walking, he though how lucky he was to have his racket and tennis equipment when he was taken here. It made living in this place more bearable and not totally new and unknown.
Soon, he arrived.
Readjusting the straps of his tennis bag, he surveyed the familiar-looking field. It made his mood considerably better- tennis always managed to do that to him.

Even the weather was perfect.
He hadn't wished to play Ryoma in the rain for a few reasons. First, his uh, extra weight would prove to be a big problem. Second, if any feeling were to be rekindled during the match, his play would be affected. Nobody would want it.
But now, it was sunny again, and he was back to being a boy. He looked forward to repicking up his skills. Arriving at the courts, he found Oishi - always the early bird - and Echizen already there. Only Eiji was left. But it wasn't like Oishi wouldn't wait for him to come. Fuji grinned as he called out.
"Oishi, Ryoma-chan~ You're here!"

Then again, it could also be different this time. This Oishi may have probably come from another time in their world, like how Ryoma, Fuji and Kikumaru came from different times, too. Maybe now, the mother hen's condition really was better.
Heh, he'll have to see to that later. A practice match with his fuku-buchou should be in order soon. "Oishi-fuku-buchou." he greeted, giving him a challenging stare, silently trying to invite his senpai in a one-on-one match- if he was up to it.
It wasn't long before he heard Fuji's voice. "Fuji-senpai," he greeted again.
Ryoma stared. The tensai was smilling like he usually did, but today, Ryoma felt that there was something a bit different about Fuji's appearance. But what? He raised a questioning eyebrow at Fuji.

It wasn't long before he noticed Ryoma's stare. "Don't I look cute in this, Ryoma-chan?" Smiling brightly, he gave Ryoma a light push towards the general direction of Oishi. "We shouldn't leave Oishi alone, ne?"
Eiji, Eiji, where are you? It's been too long since Fuji last saw the Golden Pair in play, and he couldn't wait. Besides, he would love for them to see him in this skirt.

The bag containing his racket, some towels and bottles of water, bouncing lightly behind him, he ran towards the tennis courts.
When he arrived, he saw his doubles partner, Fuji and his Ochibi already there. With a cheerful grin, he waved to them as he approached. "Oishi! Fuji! Ochibi!"

Ah, there he was; the spunky redhead who was always so full of energy. "Good morning, Eiji~" Fuji greeted with a sunny smile. "Oishi is waiting~"
He gestured towards the benches where Eiji could place his bag temporarily. ...Nah. Fuji took the bag from Eiji, and started towards the benches instead. "You go ahead and play with him."
[ooc: Lol yush you can pretend this doesn't exist; GO GO GOLDEN PAIR SUB-THREAD <3]

"I've been waiting," he said, in mock annoyance, because he really couldn't be angry or annoyed with his partner over something like this. After all, if Oishi hadn't injured his wrist, he would have been able to play weeks ago. Oishi remembered he needed to apologize for that, too. "Sorry it took me so long to be able to play. And... I know we are from different times, but I'm sorry for not being able to play Hyotei with you."
