WHO: Nagi, Zero, Alphonse, Hakkai, Agrias, Homura, and Max WHAT: A nice little vacation to Zikkie's temple WHERE: The jungle and the temple WHEN: Day 127, morning - late afternoon
Al still wasn't...entirely sure what he was getting himself into. After all, nearly the first thing anyone had done when he'd arrived had been to warn him away from the jungle - the place the woman who had killed his brother was currently staying. And if a woman like that would inhabit that place, Al supposed he could understand why.
Still, he had been asked, he had agreed - and maybe this was his chance for a little revenge.
Shrugging his red coat higher on his shoulders, Al glanced down at his hands, flexing them in pristine white gloves. He hadn't found much use for them here, not yet, but he supposed now was as good a time as any to break them in. He'd touched up the embroidery before departing, and - just for good measure - had slipped several long pieces of white chalk into his pockets.
Now, all he had to do was to hope that his alchemy would make a decisive comeback. Or at least enough of one to make him of some use.
Of course, he thought, tossing his long ponytail over his shoulders, even if it doesn't, I'm not going down
( ... )
Finally! Something worth doing in this Gods forsaken place.
Honestly, Homura liked peaceful places but he also liked going to those places willingly. Being in Rivelata just made him... well, anxious. And he did not like that feeling.
And now they were headed into a forbidden jungle where a Godking inhabited the place.
Nagi decided it would be best all around if he simply walked to the location. For the second time since arriving, Nagi met a group at the gates with the intent of venturing into the jungle.
But none of them knew that. None of them knew why he had a bounty on his head - that should have been a reason for him to avoid any of them, the fear that one of them would try to pick him off and hand him in, but that fear had died out long ago.
For this, he had returned to his white shirt and blue pants - the fabric was thin enough it breathed in this climate, but also showed signs of use - and Max would know where they came from, having been the last one to draw the telekinetic into a fight.
"I'm curious if our esteemed leader..." Nagi drolled as he looked up at Max on her perch and crossed his arms, "knows where it is she is taking us."
How much information was he willing to divulge? Would he help lead her in the right direction? Or let her fumble around in the jungle, as his group had been forced to do? Only time would tell.
Zero was decked out in his full armor, with his brown hooded traveling cloak slung about his shoulders in case extra stealth was necessary. In addition to his beam saber, he had picked up a steel saber at the Pen and Sword, a fine shimmering thing, just in case. There was no telling how well he'd function so close to the temple.
He looked up at Max. "Just two warnings. That close to the crystal, I might shut down," he said. "If so, don't worry about me. Just drag me away from it and I should be fine."
He paused. "However, if my eyes turn violet... run. Just run, don't ask questions. That's all."
He folded his arms and leaned against a tree then, waiting for orders.
Agrias came by in her masquerade outfit, as it was lighter than her tunic and breastplate. Perfect jungle wear. Her hat shielded her eyes from the sun. It was going to be another insanely hot, sticky day; she could tell already. She arrived a couple minutes late, having told her house mates and friends she would be going 'out' for the day. No further details.
Her sword was sharpened and shining, ready for anything that may come their way. It was her job today to fight.
As she approached, she tipped her hat and bowed slightly. "Good morrow to you all. Max, I am ready when you are."

Oh, Homura was very excited.
