He heard the same voice calling him. Except, this time, it was clearer. Riku also recognized it- It was Hiruma. And the quarterback was telling him to come out.

Should he?

Sniffing around, the canine smell seemed distant, but the bat (which was probably Hiruma's) stench was still there. So okay. Maybe it was safe to come out.

Rustling of leaves could be heard as he slowly appeared from his hiding place. And soon enough, he had a clear view of Hiruma... and a few buckets of water.

WATER!!

The kitty inside him was terrified. He arched his back and began hissing, ready to claw at anyone who would dare to splash water at him. He did not want to be drenched again!

Hiruma had decided he didn't need the water. He left the buckets where they were and approached the cat.

"Stay. Still. Kitty."

He narrowed his eyes and watched for a moment before leaping to grab the cat by the scruff of the neck.

"Time to put you in neutral, kitty!"

Before he knew it, Riku was dangling. Even though his feral werecat form was larger, he was still small enough to be held like that.

Growling, he swiped at Hiruma.

"Let me go!" he said. Those words forming the first understandable sentence that he had uttered since the beginning of his transformation.

He struggled to be let loose. It was uncomfortable...not to mention humiliating.

Hiruma was unphased.

After all, he'd already been through the hellish experience of housebreaking and training Cerberos. A pissed off cat was nothing compared to that dog when he was younger and far less obedient. He still had scars. Mostly mental.

"Look here, kitty. I'm not putting you down, you're going back home so that vampire bitch doesn't find you and turn you into a pair of gloves. So you've got two options," He looked down at the cat, right in his green eyes, "Quit fuckin' squirming, or I throw you in that bucket of water over there."

Hiruma wasn't sure he understood, so just to make his point, he pointed to the bucket of water.

"Be still, or get wet."

He widened his eyes at the threat.

He stayed as still as he could, not wanting to even challenge Hiruma's words. Besides, he somehow understood that the quarterback meant well.

It was then that he felt another transformation coming along.

He squeezed his eyes shut as he felt his bones and muscles shrinking, as well as other changes that, even though he couldn't see, he could still feel. His fangs and claws getting sharper, his face looking more harmless. It wouldn't be long now before he turned into a kitten, much like what happened the last time Sena hosed him, but now, he didn't even get any contact with water.
