She waited, leaning against the gate, for those that would be coming with her. Nunnally... the last remaining link to the boy's childhood. She would chastise him later for leaving her so vulnerable.

The Fullmoon Maple Teahouse was still in the final stages of preparing for it's opening night, so around his -paid!- training (Oriya was teaching him how make authentic Japanese dishes in an authentic Japanese kitchen) Fay's days were very much his own. They were spent down the market, walking Maru-chan (their puppy), making dinner, and - most recently - fucking Kurogane at any God-given time of the day. So...well rounded, for the most part ( ... )

As it was she simply turned in the general direction of the house, pausing before she started off.
"Will there be any others, Fay?" She asked, in the gentlest, most patient voice she could muster. She was quite good at pretending there was absolutely nothing wrong with the world.

"Hmmm," Fay cast his mind back to the journal, "an Allen Walker, maybe?" He then shrugged with a helpless smile, "I don't really know, sorry."
Like C.C. Fay was also a master at feigning cheer, as such he was particularly good at noticing the same politeness and carefree cheer in others. "Lady Nunally," he began delicately, but conversationally whilst they walked, "she mentioned a search party? It would be rude of me to ask the circumstances, but perhaps I could help, if of course, any is needed."
All these disappearances... he wanted so much to hope these people had found their way home, however the ill-fated pessimist that he was (despite any wistful desires) always lead him to believe otherwise. Still... he could hope, he could pretend for the sake of others.

Nunnally had managed to make a few cranes while she was sitting there, a window open on the first floor so she could hear anyone approaching.
"I do hope Miss C.C. found them... and didn't get lost. Ah but that's silly, isn't it? Of course Miss C.C. wouldn't get lost on her way here."
Despite being blind, she looked off to where the sky was, remembering the colors at dawn, at noon, and at sunset. She cupped one crane in each hand and then brought them to her cheek. Oniisan... Subaru-san... Please be safe while on your search.
