WHO: Claire Bennet [oww_pavement], Sakuya Kira [comedawn] & Yue Katou [limboed] WHAT: A companionable dinner amongst good friends. WHERE: Castillo Di Sabbia, the Harbour. WHEN: Day 108, 6pm.
Rivelata was such a great excuse to wear dresses. And it was a fancy dinner, anyway, so why not dress appropriately for the occasion. Tonight it was a short black number-- not like the devil was around to be tempted this time, and it wasn't as if Hiruma could stop her in his state, let alone had reason to be jealous.
So Jeff was in charge tonight of taking care of Hiruma. Fair. Enough.
Any other time she was the one doing it, anyway. Regardless. Tonight should be-- would be different.
It was-- okay, just a little late-- when she was hurrying down the beach in heels no less, waving to Katou who seemed to be looking around for where she was.
"I'm here," she said, finally arriving with a bright grin. "Good to see you guys. And good to finally meet you personally, Kira. Shall we?"
Spotting the blonde in the corner of his eye as she ran towards them, Katou turned around and stopped, raising an eyebrow whilst giving a cheeky whistle. Nice. “I can see that, girlie, I can see that.” This was probably the first time either of them had seen Claire in a dress and despite never imagining her to wear one, it actually suited her astonishingly well. He grinned.
“Well, erm, here we are, eh?” He gave Kira a small nudge, playfully. This was the first time these two saw each other face to face, after all. It seemed strange really, seeing as they had known one another for so long now.
“Guess I don’t need to give any fancy introductions, huh?”
"Don't make Katou jealous now," she quipped with a grin before taking his hand. "I daresay we should progress to hugs by the end of the evening. Seems only fair, having known you guys for so long."
"But yeah, I think we can skip the formal introductions," she told Katou with a grin.
"That wasn't our first meeting," she reassured. "This is."
Safe. It seemed the devil had morals, or, rather, she did. Lucky for Kira, really.
Katou blushed slightly at the ‘jealous’ comment and threw Claire an annoyed look. It was bad enough that Kira and his relationship status had changed to this all thanks to him misunderstanding her implications about a certain ‘someone’ making her happy. At the time he had been sure it was Kira and, driven irrational by a sudden surge of jealously, he had confronted him with false accusations. After that the whole secret had come flooding out. However, standing here now with his arm around Kira’s shoulder, it probably hadn’t been that bad a thing.
“That’s right,” he agreed at Claire’s reasoning, giving the scholar a shake. “You can’t remember meeting her so you didn’t meet her, am I right?” They would need to help him get his priorities straight. He didn’t like the way Kira was thinking about all this.
And, glad for the invitation inside, Katou nodded, gave a small wink to Claire and followed her into the restaurant, giving Kira’s shoulder an affectionate squeeze before letting go.

It was just common sense.
"Let's keep a very clear line between who you are and that thing I spoke to," she told Kira with another smile before looking around a bit confused.
"So where are we sitting?"
