Somehow, despite having been among the last to have been informed, Zexion was the first to arrive. He knocked on the door and waited for Claire to answer.

Lelouch, meanwhile, was already in the room, sitting quietly and scribbling a message to Kurama and Kagari. Once the other Council business was concluded, they'd need to come and be debriefed, and, being the one who had led the Jungle Retrieval Arc rescue mission for the "Culties" as Hiruma called them, it was only natural that he would be the one to contact them, especially since Hiruma and Kent were out getting the other two. In this case, since four of the six were already at the Inn and it wasn't on the list of meeting places anyway, they had decided not even to attempt a mysterious symbol in the journals.

As he finished he looked up to Claire and offered a little smile. She'd need to be on the top of her game for this-- they all did. But right now, she seemed a little... distant.

Claire's distance was partially Hiruma's fault, but looking at him, you'd never know.

The boy was already in the room by the time the others arrived, seeing as he lived right next door. So much to discuss. He had found his blackboard and his chalk and had set it up on one side of the room.

He looked at Claire out of the corner of one eye, then at the blackboard.

..... What were they here for?

Hiruma cursed under his breath. He was really, really off his game.

Max really wasn't happy about being escorted by someone at least twice her age, probably more, to a Rebellion meeting. She wisely didn't tell him that she'd been alone on the streets daily and hadn't been mugged, shot, killed, attacked or anything of the like. Yet, like a typical adult, he thought she should be escorted.

Like a kid.

The air around her was probably similar to a petulant child's, but that was irrelevant and she'd deal with indignity of needing an escort later. She was at the Crimson Dragon now, waiting in front of the door. She gave a nod of acknowledgment to Zexion.

It wasn't necessarily an escort-- well, it was, Bruce just had an excuse for it. After all, she had simply been the second of the two informed of the meeting who weren't already at the inn, so he came back with her. She could see right through it, probably, but given what had happened to both of them during the Masquerade, he wasn't about to start taking any risks.

He could guess she was ignoring his house arrest-- after all, he was too busy to keep an actual eye on her, and she probably would have tried even harder to escape and resented him even more if he had tried to. Now wasn't the time to press the issue, anyway. There were more important matters at hand.
