Shoes with wheels, Simca had said. Shoes with… wheels? It wasn’t really something Miranda could imagine. She’d seen little kids with their strange toys, but she’d never seen shoes with wheels. Maybe she hadn’t paid much attention to the kids that ran around her small town in Germany when she’d stayed there. At least, not enough to notice. Or maybe Simca was just from a different world where they had actually invented these sorts of shoes ( ... )

"Miranda~" Came a voice from up ahead. Simca hopped up and down excitedly from where she stood, a bright smile upon her face, in her left hand she held the skates, waving them joyfully in beckoning Miranda to come on over.

"What a trooper, showing up like this. I promise this'll be fun!" She chirped, untying the laces on the skates as she spoke, then moving behind Miranda to place her hands on her back, leading her off towards a bench to sit down.

"Take a seat and try these on, wont you?"

She looked up when she heard the womans' voice calling her name. Glancing around, Miranda spotted the pink-haired girl waving at her and calling her over. It didn't take Simca long to catch her, undoing the shoe laces, and force her off to a bench to sit down.

"S-sure," She said, a little startled by how excited and ... energetic Simca seemed to be. The German girl sat down as ordered, and looked at the shoes she was being told to put on. Carefully, Miranda put the roller skates on,letting out small yelps when her feet slipped slightly because of the wheels, but once she'd gotten to get the second shoe on, she seemed to have gotten the hang of keeping her feet still.

They fit, which Miranda supposed was a relief. They were a tiny bit big, but she didn't think that was anything to think too much of. "T-there," She said, looking up at Simca for her next instruction.

Simca looked her over, and gave a curt nod, finding the way that the shoes appeared to fit Miranda satisfactory. She then extended her hands out for Miranda to take so that she could help pull her to her feet.

"Once you're standing up, make a "V" with your feet, heels together, toes apart~" She chirped, doing so with her own feet, which were of course clad in a pair of rollerblades.

"Keep your body upright and don't look down~ Bend your knees slightly. Arms out like an airplane's wings."
