WHO: Luke fon Fabre X2! Well, Luke and Asch, and Peony and a ~special guest~
WHAT: Who knows? Luke and Asch meet up to discuss things/be asked to the ball again/kill each other once and for all.
WHERE: Peony's room at the Crimson Dragon, hilariously enough.
WHEN: Later in the night.

Luke didn't know why he'd agreed to help out with the Emperor, except for the fact that he and Jade were kind of friends, and friends helped each other out, right? )

Peony's head hurt. It hurt quite a bit. He heard the knocking, but it only woke him up on the last knock. The Emperor sat up in the bad slowly, pushing blonde hair back from his face and blinking exhaustedly.

"Jade?" His eyes focused, and he spotted a familiar mass of red hair. Jade was most likely downstairs in the meeting. It was Luke, who had probably come to see if he was still alive. Leaning back against a pillow, he tried to look better than he felt.

"Ah, Luke. Come in, it's a bit dark- My apologies." He sounded like hell, even to himself, and he attempted to quietly clear his throat.

Of all the things Asch didn't want to do...

Well. There were few that were higher on his list than this. It was inevitable, though, and he'd agreed for whatever reason, and now he was going to see it through so he could get it over with. The idea that Luke had asked him to the--the ball--it still rankled him. What was the replica trying to pull? What did he have up his sleeve?

Bringing Osei into this mess was the worst part, but she--he couldn't leave her alone.

He all but kicked the door to the room down. Of all the things Asch didn't want to do, top of the list was have this meeting, with Luke, in front of the emperor, with Osei there to watch him behave so poorly.

Of all places he didn't want to be, the Inn was one of them.
He had followed Asch quietly, staying close to his side and lowering his gaze whenever they passed people. Before they had left, he had adjusted his hair and kimono so he didn't look a wreck. He wasn't sure who they were meeting, he hadn't asked.
As they had entered the Inn, had moreso melded himself to Asch's side. Ignoring any looks he was given, he kept his hands folded before him and his head down. When they had reached the room, he looked to the god-general.

"Who exactly are we seeing?" He supposed he would know soon enough, and calmed himself. When he entered the room, they wouldn't see a Ninja. They would see a young woman. Delicately pale and slender to the point of frailty. The kimono he wore were not as pristine as they once were, but they still effectively hid the masculine aspects of his form quiet well. As long as he kept his cool, and maintained the control he had mostly held all night- His cover was fine.

Luke had seated himself in a chair by Peony's bed, not being well-acquainted enough with the Emperor to actually sit on his bed. He'd said he was all right and Luke... mostly believed him. He still looked a little like he was going to melt into goo, or maybe like he was going to throw up, but he was probably all right.

And if he felt like he was going to throw up, well. Luke sympathized with him.

He practically jumped out of his chair when Asch kicked the door open. He definitely stood up.

"Asch!" Luke shouted. Sometimes when he was nervous he had trouble controlling the volume of his voice. And he was most definitely--nervous. He still didn't know why he'd gone and done--that thing. He'd done.

Peony winced when Luke yelled Asch's name, and he knew who his next visitor was. Lovely. Sending Luke to check on him was fine, but why BOTH of them? Rubbing at his temples, he looked from one to the other. He was finally able to tell the two apart without thinking, though it still felt dizzyingly like double-vision.

"If you're going to make sure I'm alive, at least use indoor-voices. As you can tell, my head isn't in the best way right now." A glance to Asch, and then to the figure slightly behind him. "What are you..two doing here anyway? I didn't think I needed multiple babysitters."
