Sabriel doesn't take insults to intelligence very well. XD!shewalksindeathSeptember 15 2008, 18:00:21 UTC
Perhaps looking around a little might afford you a little insight into the intelligence of some of the people here. Although I agree - many citizens don't notice a thing - there are smarter people here than you seen to believe.
Darcy just doesn't know what tact is XDvaincravatSeptember 15 2008, 18:07:07 UTC
Are generalizations not recognized as such? Forgive me then, for not knowing the intelligence of the entire populace; had I realised how offensive it was to simply one girl who can't hold her tongue, than I should have held mine.
Perhaps this is not well-known to the public, but the Queen did, in fact, send a quite sizable contingent into the jungle to assist in the battle against the Godking.
Admittedly, the Queen does not keep us terribly well informed regarding things, but given the Godking can monitor these journals as closely as she can, perhaps that's most prudent.
This has been hidden from me; I was not one of the numbers that went into the wilderness, nor am I even acquainted with them. I apologize.
Regardless of whether he can though, not reacting reflects poorly on the standards of government here, especially if doing so is for her own safety more than anyone else's.
I admit, the government here is hardly a shining paragon, the golden standard to which all governments must be held, but tell me Mr... Darcy, unless I'm mistaken? Do you know of one government in all of history that has not been riddled with flaws and weaknesses?
Government's government. Everything's flawed. Doesn't mean I like the queen or how she runs things, but if he says she assisted, who am I to dispute facts?
Well, well, an Englishman! I said the same thing, you know, but I was very happily proven wrong - and that doesn't happen often - by someone who apparently wears tights. Be a little more observant, sir, and I'm sure you'll be a little more hopeful about the place~!

But if you have, then perhaps I shall soften my tone next time I speak of it. Though it seems we may be the only ones to have noticed this.

Anarchy's no better either.
