As a new arrival, you have much of yourself to explain and no actions to give credit to your words. You will have difficulty persuading me, you understand.

Please describe the nature of your position as a 'Gaurdian' in your home world, Master Rokudo. Examples as well as extrapolations on your exploits, that is to say.

Good day, Sir Chancellor,

Forgive this one's rudeness, I am merely a salesman who have been transferred to this country for reason's unknown. I harbor no ill feelings towards her majesty, and have settled in quite nicely in this country and even set up my own shop. It is merely my wish to be able to have this opportunity to converse with her royal highness and learn more about this beloved country which she has generously bestowed upon us.

I have taken no side in this upcoming war and do not wish to do so.

My name is Sakamoto Ryouma and I hope to represent those neutral people who have been living peacefully in this land.

Thank you for your time, Sir Chancellor. Again, may you have a good day.

If you have plans to represent merchants or other neutral parties, can you claim to have met a number of others such as yourself?

In essence, what makes you a good 'representative', Master Sakamoto?

Hmmm... I can't be so hasty to say that I've met them all, haven't I? I am well aware that there a lot of us, though.

If so ever there comes a time where a dispute will break out between your chosen councilors, seeing as they previously come from different factions, there must be someone neutral to come in between these disputing councilors and help find a middle way. You might also want someone neutral in order to prove to the people that you are willing to have councilors who are not just royalists, a sort of assurance that this is not going to end up as another means of oppressing them.

It would endanger you to have someone who is clearly a rebel within the council, having someone neutral for the sake of representation is your best bet.

Even though I am prepared to be a royalist for the Queen, I believe I'd like a place on this council.

What sorts of qualifications can you provide to support that opinion, Master Edward?

idannati May 9 2008, 01:40:24 UTC
Most likely, my qualifications are nothing near as grand as others will be, but giving an attempt for this surely cannot hurt.

I have lived for more years than a human. I have been around long enough to understand in detail the politics of situations as this. I've seen two wars, and various situations, so this is not entirely foreign to me.

I am level-headed and a quick thinker. Strategies come easily to mind, which could be benefiting for a council.

I realize I may not offer much in comparison to others, but I appreciate the consideration nonetheless, even if I do not make this council.

So despite your appearance you are well-aged. That is good to know. While youthful bodies can give energy, youthful minds are often prone to mistakes that, were it tempered by experience, would not come into consideration at all.

You claim to be a strategist and have seen war. In what manner were these wars conducted and what kind of strategist do you profess to be? That is to say, are you skilled in mêlée combat? Ranged weaponry? Magical abilities? And were the wars fought with human wave tactics? Beasts of burden in calvary groups? Siege of castles?

Hail, Chancellor. I am Komui Lee, Supervisor of the Black Order, and wish to secure a place on the council. I have already professed my loyalty to the Queen. I aim merely for reason and peace, sir.

This Black Order... do you have many subordinates here in Rivelata, Master Komui?

It would appear you do have some measure of leadership and management skills, but I wonder about your composure, Master Komui. Have you, like so many others, found time to reflect on yourself while in Rivelata?

komuieee May 9 2008, 16:42:32 UTC
Nearly all my top exorcists and generals are currently residing in Rivelata. However, we have been a bit scattered as of late. I shall be calling a meeting with the Order soon, discussing matters of this war the Queen has issued against Zikhadhara. If she so wishes to accept our assistance that is.

Composure? The recent transformations have been quite unsettling, but I have composed myself and kept my humanity intact if that is what you mean.

The fact that you can rally supporters and reacted with a cool head does serve you well indeed, Master Komui. I will give you consideration.

Your goddamn government is a hack sham and I would hope that Schwarz is successful with their assassination plan if it didn't mean we'd be left with them in charge.

Fuck your coveted spots on the council. Fuck your government. Fuck your War and FUCK your queen. You can't buy loyalty with a promise of goodwill AFTER all the shit you put us through. Not from the people who count anyway.

For someone who seems so displeased with their situation, you do little to change it. Considering the strong beliefs you hold, why not put them to use in a setting where people will actually listen? If you think the government a hack sham, work towards bettering it.

You can curse in vain all you want, but it will change nothing. Until you prove yourself to be a 'person that counts' through actions rather than empty threats, your opinion means naught.

You actually think they're going to listen to you? This whole council is a joke! The Queen is trying to BUY you by pretending she cares. She needs people to kill the cats so they don't kill her first. and that is the ONLY reason they're pretending to set up this council, because we're supposed to be the cannon fodder for this war.

You're either a goddamn sell-out or a dumbass, believing this will have an effect.

I'm a man of opportunity. I'm also a man of action. If you think me a sell-out, so be it. You claim the council to have no effect- and perhaps the changes will be minimal, if any.
However, what are you doing that will have an effect?

Unless you count spouting claims you can't be sure are true, to eyes and ears that know as much or more than you- I don't see you doing anything at all. From what I have read, I can only picture a hypocritical boy hiding behind his journal like a frightened rabbit. Wanting change, unwilling to work for it.
