I'm not sure this will make sense to you, but...

He is a genetically enhanced "super-soldier", infused with quantum brainwaves that allow him to communicate more effectively on the battlefield. However, as a child this made him severely mentally unstable. This is a comrade of mine who has reverted to childhood for some reason. I don't ask questions anymore. Last time this happened, I was one of the unlucky ones who degenerated...

If this child becomes agitated, I fear the worst.

It should be fairly easy to locate him, and as long as he doesn't become distressed I should be able to get him home with little difficulty.
