2nd Experiment

How curious. I don't think I've ever seen a more unique specimen of flora... I wonder how similar it is to the trees native to this land and my own... Clearly, the answers to my questions can only be obtained one way.

Dissection.

Believe me, honey, that's not surprising. You best stay away from that tree. Touch it with so much as a scalpel and you'll find yourself in so many pieces we could host a scavenger hunt out of your body parts.

And now he's curious about her. screwyinthehead January 12 2009, 21:00:47 UTC
Oh? My that sounds interesting. And how do you propose such a feat might be accomplished?

And what of its natural debris, or a sample of bark, hrm?

I am afraid I stand with the lady - I must ask you to refrain from harming the tree, lest I be forced to resort to force.

And what harm would a few incisions done and a handful of samples taken do to a specimen as large and robust as that?

Just because you cannot hear them cry, does not mean that plants are incapable of feeling pain.

Yes, of course! It's the best way to analyze a new specimen!

N-new specimen? The tree?

Why do you want to cut up a tree?

Not the whole thing. I don't have a scalpel that big.
