today i woke up early.. and set out on an adventure with two friends to a wooded national forest in the deserts of new mexico...

we arrived at our "spot" and got out of the truck.. i of course well geared and ready for action...

the coolers unloaded, the grill, and of course the poles..

casting my line into a fishing hole, i did infact retrieve a nice

yes.. i never knew myself how beautiful the desert forests are in new mexico until i myself went..

i don't do pics in my journal.. although i did think of taking a picture with my phone and posting it.. but after a second thought.. decided it would cheapen the memory..

Amen! At times I worry about finances and my loans and stuff like that and then I realize that I may not be financially rich, but man, I am rich in so many other ways. So instead of dwelling on money matters, I put my trust in Him, that He will meet my needs and I am rich in so many other ways that I need to be more thankful. After all, where your heart is, that is where He will be.
