People keep giving me books but I like the ones I get myself

My friend Glen Fitch decided I needed to read Master and Margarita so he ordered it for me and I regret that because it's a nice hardcover edition and it couldn't have been cheap but...I didn't last fifteen pages. Re: FOGCon - Despite my geographical proximity, I'm planning to have a hotel room at FOGCon (because reasons). There is a slight possibility that my gf may be coming out to join me for the con, but if she doesn't would you like the use of the second bed? (As in, I'm not looking for cost-splitting; I'd have this second bed that would otherwise be going to waste.)

That sounds like a delightfully amazing story! The gf has floated the idea as a possibility (she enjoyed the con several years ago when she came out to visit in conjunction) but it depends on work and life and such.
