What to do with a tasteless peach

So I bought peaches at Costco. K likes great big juicy peaches and is not impressed with the wonderful little ones from the farmer's market. So I thought, these are big and beautiful, and surely if you're selling produce to restaurants, you'll have good produce, right

from the store that I'm sure they bagged because they were close to too ripe.

The one or two I got to eat were tasty, but a day later they kind of collapsed into a pile of goo and nastiness. I'm glad I took a couple (had one with my morning break, then had one at lunch) because otherwise it was a wash. If I'd known how fast they were going to collapse, I'd have gone ahead and peeled/sliced/frozen them.

Alas.

I think if you see normally loose produce in a bag you can bet they need to be eaten yesterday!
