I love liverwurst but the store sells only kind of gross kinds now and I get oversalted and icky feeling if I eat it in any quantity, which if I eat it at all, I do, because who else will eat it beforee it goes bad

If you like I can find and translate a German liverwurst recipe for you? It's got pigs' liver and bacon in it and is boiled in closed glasses so that it keeps longer.
I sympathise re not being able to buy certain foods because you eat too much owing to there only being you to eat it. I have the same problem with things I like and that G doesn't. The children and I used to share such treats, but of course they've not been living at home for many years now.
Oh wow, somehow it had not occurred to me that I could make my own liverwurst. Grinding/blending it up fine does sound like it would be hard, but it should be possible to get something tasty.
