I have four stories out right now.

I looked back through my submissions tags and I see that I was about this active seven and eight years ago. I don't want to speculate on what this means because it makes me kind of sad.

I'm currently pondering where to send the new skin-singer story, once I have it polished up. There are so many good markets for short sff these days, but that doesn't make it any easier to sit and wait to hear. At least it (in theory) makes it easier to have a list of where you'll send it next. Up until now, almost all my short fiction has been written from the start for specific markets. It's a bit weird to think, "Ok, I've got a story. Now what do I do with it?"

I have the situation of having a specific market for the first time ever right now. I have quite a few stories that wee written to anthology prompts but were not accepted, and then I end up having to send them off to on-spec markets after all.

There sure are a lot of places to send stories these days, though.
