Not the first time this has happened on this computer

Apparently, cut text and make a new document is too much to handle for open office on vista. I did not choose this configuration and I really, really can't afford to do anything about it.

I only lost a thousand words.

Ouch! :(

I must admit, I never entirely trust Cut. In cases like that I always Copy and Paste and then delete the unwanted text from the original document.
