Gentle Arms of Eden, written by Dave Carter and performed by him and Tracy Grammer was put into their hymnal a few years back. Dave passed, in completely unexpected way (was on a trip east, went jogging, came back to hotel room, lay down on the floor, woke up once and told Tracy, "Baby I think I just died. It's wonderful...." and then he died. Heart malfunction (not a heart attack, but probably an arrhythmia, doesn't really matter because of the outcome).
We've got all but one of his CDs, and Tracy Grammar has gone on to do wonderful work inspired by him.
When I Go
Tanglewood Tree
Drum Hat Buddha
Are the CDs to look for. If you like vibrant folk and story songs, they're wonderful.
And it's also Very Good that the raptor got out okay without being slashed by the window or killed.
