No, we're not getting hitched. We have set a date for tearing out the kitchen to prepare for the new cabinets. I have 3 days off from work to tear out cabinets, repair walls, clean and paint. This will be Jan 22-24. When I go back to work on Wednesday morning my kitchen has to be ready for new cabinet installation. If we have time the old upper ( Read more... )

Whee!!!!!!!!!! Indeed! I'll try to remember to haul along an extra chair - sometimes we have "free" ones, sometimes they're all occupied.

And, OT - are you a member of any guilds? I really need to join one....I'm kinda all by my lonesome out here, and need some positive reinforcement.

Nope, not a member. The only time I ever get together with other spinners is when I go to Heritage Arts for their spin-in on the 3rd Saturday of any given month. Unfortunately I do that only rarely, like the last time I saw that bunch was at TexOLAN (Feb)last year.
